What is the history of the Wildhorse Mustang Club?

The Wild Horse Mustang Club was founded in 2004 to bring the Great American Pony Drive to Beaumont, TX.

Our first big event, on April 18, 2004 was to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Mustang.  Along with our sponsors we threw a big party on Crockett Street in Beaumont, Texas.  Mustang enthusiasts from all of the US and the World attended to welcome the Pony Drive participants to their first stop in the great state of Texas.

The following day, club members joined in the caravan to Tyler and Dallas.  Several members continued on to the stops in Oklahoma City and Mustang, OK.

​​Our August edition of Beaumont Coffie and Cars was our largest turnout yet... Great thanks also to all of our sponsors and Sertinos Cafe for their continued support for the community and car enthusiast across Southeast Texas.

WHMC members span the entire demographic spectrum of our community.  From the avid collector to the purchase of your first Mustang.  From young to old, we have them all.

​We had a great turnout at the Lumberton Wienerschnitzel Meet & Greet with 47 cars, trucks, and motorcycles showing up. There were many new "first timers" as well as the faithful that showed up. It was great to meet y'all and I hope you will return next month.
